Cellist Cathy Kuna has over 35 years of experience as a cello instructor in the Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton, West Chicago and Bartlett area, and offers private lessons for students of all levels and ages.

Ms. Kuna is a dynamic teacher who strives to instill in students a deep understanding and love of music.  

Lessons include the development of expressive playing, technical advancement, music theory, improvisation, composition, traditional cello repertoire and popular music.  Ms. Kuna enjoys working with all ages and levels of students, including adult beginners. The program of study is designed to meet the particular needs and goals of each student, whether that be supporting school orchestra playing, a professional career in music, or simply-
